Over the last 12 months the average sales price in the Ware Region was £407,304. The total value of sales was £189,728,527.
32% of sales in the past 12 months were flats, achieving an average sales price of £233,330. Houses achieved an average price of £530,587.
The highest value recorded by the Land Registry over the past 12 months was £522,500 for a flat and £2,900,000 for a house
Interestingly, house prices have risen by more than 13% over the last 5 years but flats have stagnated in price with an average drop of 0.3% for the same period
As a reference, average house prices cross the UK were £269,862 in
October, which is 1.7% higher than a year ago. (ONS) There were 100,350
transactions in November, up 8% year-on-year (HMRC).
